During the course of the last 2 or 3 years while I was trying and giving up multiple times to get started in affiliate marketing, I kept seeing new “super affiliates” show up on the scene who were all able to achieve a high level of success within a year or two of starting. That only added to my frustration. What was so special about them that enabled them to try their hand at affiliate marketing and end up making 5 or 6 figures a month in a short period of time?
Then I came across an incredibly informative podcast that helped me to realize something. The stories I had been reading only focussed on their successes and politely left out their failures. Realizing that was huge.
The podcast that helped me to realize that is Andrew Wee’s Friday Podcasts. Andrew has a real knack for asking insightful, well thought-out questions. The people in the industry he interviews tend to be really open, honest, and don’t over-glamorize their rise from humble beginnings in this industry. Nor do they use buzz words or industry jargon that newcomers won’t understand. Those qualities in his podcasts really helps demystify some of the affiliate marketing success stories so prominent on the internet that seem to happen overnight.
Here are a few of my favorite Friday Podcasts:
- Affiliate Income Strategies With Jeremy Palmer
- Affiliate Marketing Strategies With Dr Ngo
- PPC Success Strategies With Gauher Chaudhry
- ShareASale Affiliate Network Developments with Jason Rubacky
- Becoming An Affiliate Marketing Success With Brandon Adcock
- Affiliate Strategies With Ruck
- Affiliate Marketing Success Strategies with Smaxor
- Affiliate Marketing Via Social Networks and Video With Peter Dunbar
The more podcasts I listen to, the more I realize that there are a lot of people willing to help you get started. Especially at the networks. You just have to not be afraid to ask for it, and be willing to put in the work to make something happen.
Whenever I feel like my wheels are spinning and I’m not gaining much ground or if I start losing motivation, Andrew’s podcast always help me get fired up again so I can keep on pushing through the challenges that come my way.
